Bridal Shower
Okay so I am hosting my sisters bridal shower this weekend with two of the other girls in the bridal party. I didn't think about buying her a gift until one of the other girls mentioned she bought her a few place setting of the china she wanted. IDK what to do we are already dishing out a minimum of $400 each and I don't think I can pull off anything gift worthy... IDK what to do!

Re: Bridal Shower
For my sisters bridal shower a few years I picked one of the most expensive things on her registry (happened to be the pots and pans). I didn't ask the bridal party to help on the cost of the shower so instead I asked them since there were 7 of us would they mind chipping in to buy the set of pots and pans which were over $500, they were all for it. So just an idea ...go in with the rest of the bridal party on a gift to off set the cost.

Crashing.I threw my sister in laws shower because her family doesn't live in ny. I bought her a cake topper because she wanted a custom made one but because I paid for her entire shower I didn't actually get her a gift. I'm sure your sister would understand.

Her bridal party sucks (sorry but they do!) No one wants to spend any money...One of the other girls is going to chip in $40.00 to what ever I buy so I guess it will work in the end

My sisters and bridesmaids are paying for my whole shower. I said thats my gift. After what they are laying out for the shower, dress and bach party they definitally dont need to add a picture frame or pan onto their tab!

I agree with this. I have 2 people in my wedding party. Both cousins who essentially are my sisters. One lives in Seattle and the other is 17. The 17 year olds mother is insisting on paying for my shower and I certainly do not expect or want a gift from her. She's doing enough already as MOH. I think your sister will certainly understand.
