Bridal Shower

Are you supposed to invite everyone that is invited to your wedding to your shower as well?

My mom is asking me for everyone's addresses and I was going to leave some people off that I wasn't too close with but they are invited to the wedding. My mom thinks anyone on the wedding list should be on the shower list. Thoughts??

No not really. I didn't invite everyone from the wedding to the shower. It was mainly the closest friends/family that came to the shower and it was perfect that way.

Ya that is what I was thinking. There are some people that I 'have' to invite to wedding like FH co workers, my boss, etc that I don't necessarily think I need to include at the shower.

Yup! Besides for all you know they may not even attend. Then it's a waste of an invite. The shower is for you to have fun that's all hehe

I invited almost all the women. I left out girlfriends & wives that are invited because of their husbands/boyfriends. I also left off all out of state guests that aren't immediate family
