Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party

Of course im fabulously late to everything. Our wedding is in April! When should we have our bridal shower and bachelorette party?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I plan on getting married in October, so I want my bachelorette party and bridal shower in August because I have summers off due to my job. Two months prior seems pretty good to me anyway for the bridal shower. Bachelorette party you may want to do closer to your date, depending on your friend's schedules and whatnot.

The earlier the better - too much going on as you get closed to THE date!

Im cracking up at your fabulously late comment... Bridal Shower you should have asap. All the other brides on here that are having March/April weddings are having them Jan or had them already.

Bach party we are doing the month before, so you have a little room with that. But if you have big plans that require travel and ppl need to know they should save money, you may wanna figure that one sooner than later.

I'm doing 2 months in between them, just to spread out the fun and excitment and anticipation! So for example, if my wedding were in April I would do my shower in January and my bachelorette in March.

thanks for all your advice! I think i'm going to mention January bridal shower and march bachelorette party to my maid of honor. hopefully she'll get the hint! Thanks girls!

Amanda has an April wedding and the bachelorette party is the first weekend of March in Miami and shower the weekend after. My daughter wanted to leave 8 weeks between bachelorette party and wedding so that a cast would be off in time for the wedding if she breaks any bones!

My wedding is in July and my bridal shower is next weekend!! With tax season and my friend getting married it was super hard to coordinate dates in the spring.

I would definately work on both asap. Maybe BS in Feb so it gives you time to mail invites and book a place and bach party in april.

two months before for shower seems about right. My shower is going to be March 31st for May wedding. And bachelorette party will be something low-key, probably around my birthday in early April.

I'm not sure when my Bridal shower is, but I know invites were sent out a while ago so Im guessing its this month and the Bachelorette party will be in March. Getting married mid-April
