I like the idea of doing something like bath salts with a saying like From SoandSo's Shower to Your's. Or doing cookies from somewhere like Florie's Finales. I'll get a pic of them, hold on
Although my shower is a surprise, I'm helping in choosing the favors and I'm thinking of doing Bath and Body Lotions from Bath and BOdy works.

Are you planning your shower? I think it might be hard to pick a favor without knowing the decor and other elements too but here are some ideas:
- an umbrella (everyone needs them and it works with the shower thing) - a christmas ornament (the only tkotche that a good # of people will use) - something edible
For my friends shower im throwing, I might give a little costume jewlery pin in the shape of purses/shoes and hats.

For my shower, the girls gave flowers as the favors. I have been to a lot of showers that use candles also.

For my sisters shower I had favor boxes with a Kim Anderson picture on it filled with a few kisses in tulle.
For my sister's shower last Saturday I ordered favor jams form Kellys Jellies. I did Christmas Jam and Dutch Apple Pie for my Christmassy themed shower. Kelly wraps them in puts label on so it wasn't expensive. I heard they were delicious. They have a ton of flavors and holiday ones too. The label said' Laurie and Brian SPREAD the love!'
For my shower, my sister gave out bath beads and soap. It said 'From Dawn's shower to yours!'
My sister went to a shower that gave out potholders. I have been to showers that gave out chocolate lollipops in wedding shapes.

We are doing the favors for my FSIL's bridal shower in march. We finally came to a decision after lots of debate!
My brother and his fiancee are having a destination wedding in hawaii, so we wanted to do something related to hawaii, or the tropics.
We are going to buy potppouri, and wrap it in satin, and tie a ribbon and a tropical flower to it.
This is for like a sock draw, or underwear draw.
We wanted to do something usefull, that wouldn't get tossed aside or into the garbage. And we also wanted to keep it inexpensive. The bride wanted us to do dontions, but we didn't think that was approptiate for just a small bridal shower. And she has no choice, it is a surprise! :)

I wish I could help you but I know nothing about my shower.
I've been to showers where they've given out candles wrapped in ribbon w/ silk flowers, vases w/ potpourri wrapped in tulle. I like votive holders w/ candles- that's something everyone COULD use.

The favors were a huge hit at my sisters shower. We got kitchen untensils from a $1 store. They really didnt look like $ store stuff. Stainless steel farberware knockoff's..... Well we took like a spoon and a wisk and tied them together with a rubber band then tied a small dish towel around it and then printed up tags on the computer and printed them out on floral print business cards from staples.
Everyone was talking about them b/c it was different and you can never have enought kitchen untensils. They came out to about $2.25- $2.50 each. ($ store discounted them b/c we ended up getting like 120pieces)

my shower was yesterday. My mom & moh got little baby salt and pepper shakers and put them in little cellophane bags. The theme was 'seasons of love'

I am contemplating with Coffee Favors (personalized silver bags) which says 'Perfect Blend' Or Cookies that are tied up in a knot which states 'We tied the Knot' I am contemplating because Fiance says the cookies look like little terds.
