bridal shower frustration

so my shower invites went out and the RSVP deadline was yesterday
32 people are coming - which is a decent turn out considering i invited 52 people

I am a bit frustrated though with some people that have not responded....like nothing at all. The RSVP was to my sister and she listed a phone number and email address. 14 people did not rsvp!!! Some of them are OOT and i know they will not be coming but 4 of them are friends that I will be seeing at a bbq this weekend...do i say something to them? or just leave it alone and assume they arent coming but have enough food just in case? thankfully it is at a house so its casual and we are just having it catered but im frustrated that they dont have the decency to respond...and it only makes me realize what i will be in store for with the wedding rsvps

I think I would def. ask... this way we are more sure for the food!!!

Agreed!

do not get involved!!! trust me!

let the person throwing the shower call each person individually

it really is not the brides position to ask...I would give the RSVP person the number of each outstanding person and have them call to confirm

ITA..... This is ONE thing the bride should NOT have to stress about!!
