What I did for the candy poem was take a BUNCH of different candy bars and such and included them into a poem about the couple...so you leave the spaces blank where the candy should go...spread it all out on a table and let the girls go for it. The one done first WINS! You can make it funny..crazy..dirty...it's just a fun game. When I get hom I can FM you the one I used if you want!

the bubble gum is funny!
we're also doing guess her age, where we put up 8 or so pics and people have to guess how old she is.

Re: Bridal Shower games
This was a game we did at FSIL shower a few weeks ago. It's a great thing for new couples who are moving in together. It's a poem, and household items are used as guidelines (the items are in CAPS). The items in the poems must be purchased and put in a giant basket (laundry baskets work and are useable too!) and can be handed to the bride as the poem is read, or she can just have the basket in front of her. It's a great idea from the bridal party, or one or two people.
Dear_________,
Here are some tips from us (me) to you: To help your marriage stick like GLUE Oh, how FANTASTIC marriage can be it's true! No longer SOLO in a few weeks The PLEDGE you and ______ make is for keeps. Though you are GLAD that you have found a genuine HONEY who WISKed you off the ground, marriage you will soon discover is certainly not EQUAL. As you CONCENTRATE vividly on your next trial ______will probably have been napping awhile. _______is very loving, with a BOUNCE in his step, too-- because he is getting it ALL with you! The two of you together it's plain to see fit each other to a TEA. You and ______ should never SHOUT because that's not what marriage is about. Treat each other with kid GLOVES, give each other lots of hugs, and the measure of your SUCCESS will be the happiness you possess. Face each day with CHEER and you both will have a ZESTful first year. To SNUGGLE and CARESS is the key to happiness--and it's free! May love and JOY fill your hearts all the way and let's hope ______ (fill in with date of wedding)is not filled with rain but SUNLIGHT that day. We know that the days of your married life will be X-TRA bright as your love increases after each little fight. And may the DOVE of peace bring a BOUNTYof love to your life.
Love,

Re: Bridal Shower games
i like the toliet paper game..I was just at a shower where they had glass marbles in a jar and each table had to make a collective guess on the number of marbles..Another shower they gave out necklaces and a word was chosen ie..Brides name and everytime someone would say it they would lose the necklace and pass it to the person who made them say the word...person with the most necklaces won...Just some ideas other than the basic bingo/trivia games..

I like the 'what's in your purse' game. You list things like a receipt from 6+ months ago, the shower invite, brides registry printout, needle and thread kit, nail glue. You can do funny things, or regular things. Whoever has the most things, wins. Or you can assign each a points value and who ever has the most points wins!
