So someone who is not attending my bridal shower sent me a gift. Do I mail out a thank you card now or wait till after my shower which is taking place in mid Sept.?

For the shower, I mailed out Thank you cards when I received the gift. For any gifts I receive for the wedding I will be mailing all those TYs out at the same time.

Anything I got at/around my shower I sent thank you notes out after the shower. I have gotten a few things since then, the wedding is a month away, but I'm going to write the thank yous for things that have come in anyway to avoid the massive backlog later.

I haven't really been in 'speaking' terms with this person... so I don't want her to think I'm ignoring her gift. She was a former BM that dropped out. I guess this makes this a little tricky.
