Silly question.....
Are any of you ladies asking for any day of things? Like your robe, bride hanger, just married t-shirts, that plaque with your new last name (whatever it's called) cake cutting stuff?
If so what am I missing?
And if not, is it wrong for me to give my mom that list???

I gave my mom and my sister (my MOH) on my list the established plaque with our last name and the bride hanger. I put my cake server and knife on my registry so anyone can get it.

Oh and our champagne flutes I put on the registry too.

My sister asked for that list and she is my matron of honor. Typically the bridal party or mother buys cake topper, cake cutter, toasting glass. We bough our toasting glasses cause we had special ones picked out that cost $$$ so we felt wrong asking anyone to get them for us. My sister bought my garter and cake cutter. We made our own card box and guest book. We bought our name plaque. My sister gave me a few bride tanks. I plan on getting the hanger myself or making them. I think if your mom or your bridal party offer I don't think it's wrong.

We actually are buying our own flutes and cake cutter because we are getting special ones and are having them engraved and I felt bad to put that on a registry because it cost $$. I already got the hangers because that is something I will be presenting to my girls on the day of with their silk monogramed robes I bought them. I am driving my girls and FMIL crazy because during conversations they ask me if I want specific things and I tell them I purchased them already. Lol FH and I are going this Friday to register - FH wants everything and I don't have a clue. Lol

A little confused with what you are asking but if you wish to use other toasting glasses than the ones FH aunt bought I don't see why not. You can explain you would like to keep those as your engagement glasses and wish to have other ones for your wedding.

Idk if it will offend her if we don't use them. I guess I was wondering if anyone else had a similar situation. We haven't used them. I wasn't sure what she got them for, show or display at our future home one day or for us to use on the wedding day.

Are they engraved with like bride and groom or just plain? Are they champagne flutes or regular wine glasses? If they are non engraved wine glasses they are for your future home, if they are engraved champagne flutes they are intended for the wedding
