tequila sunrise is fun but they are renovating and it looks really bad from the outside..

Try Mojave (tex mex southern style food) in Ditmars or I think there is this other mexican place called margaritaville.. I think, not really sure.. Im from Astoria, and I cant think of any others.. there is also a colombian restuarant that is really good! and they have private parties, you would have to call but their food is awesome and its called Tierres Colombianas (sp?) in astoria also

ahhh mojave, that is true i forgot its considered mexican lol. I answered on BHB and couldnt think of anything except for the one on northern and steinway. But yeah i guess i think of Mojave more of southwest cuisine. The place inside is real nice, not sure if they do private parties though but would be a nice location. I do have to say i wasnt crazy about the food, maybe it was an off day but not only didnt i like the taste that much, i got VERY sick from it. And a few others told me the same. Its good for their drinks though lol

I LOVE Tierras, the food is DELICIOUS

Tierras is AWESOME but I dont think they have a private room. There is a Brazilian buffet called greenfield's in astoria which is great!!!

Ah, Yes, Tierras Colombianas is really good, I had no idea they have a private room for parties. Thanks! I'll call them up.
