Bridal Shower Invite

Who did you invite from FH's family? FH says I should invite all of his cousins but I don't know any of them. I'm thinking just Aunts.

I think whatever your FH or FMIL says is who you should invite. JMO

I am pretty sure my Mom asked FMIL for her list and that's who is invited

My mom also just asked FMIL for her list. We agreeded on no kids so on his side it was a few of FMILs friends, all FH's aunts, one of his great aunts, two of FMIL's cousins, and one 18 yr old cousin. I don't think you want to pick in chose, except for no children because it might cause unnecessary tension before the wedding.

However, it also depends on the size of the shower. If you're only having like 20 people it might not be as insulting....

FH has no family really---- my mom asked FMIL for a list, she didnt invite any of his family only her friends.Weird

You should allow FH's family to invite some - I had to have my FMIL cut down on her list - becuase 1. No one had me on their lists and that left me with no invites

2. I had no spots for invites of my own!!

Well FMIL and FSIL of course and then I will ask her if she thinks anyone else from their side should be invited. Not too many though!

I invited all of my FH's family, his mom's friends, and some significant others of his friends. His family may want to help you celebrate for his sake!

My shower isn't til Summer, but my mom is asking FMIL for her list and whoever is on it is getting invited.

Who really cares who's on the list? The more people, the more presents
