Does anyone have any suggestions for bridal shower locations? Preferably in Queens or Western Nassau County? Someplace nice, not too expensive.

There's a great place called Trattoria Lucia on Jericho Turnpike in Bellerose. We had my brother's RD there in August. I'm having my engagement party on Saturday at the Inn at New Hyde Park!! Both places are great, good food and good bang for your buck!!

How about doing a tented backyard shower? My fiance and I are having a couple's shower in my parents backyard, under a tent and then having food catered in. Saves money.

That's a great idea but neither me or my fiance have backyards big enough for something like that.
Is your fiance going to stay with you at the bridal shower?

My mom and sister hosted my shower at the Roma View in Howard Beach. It was really nice.

You all have suggested some really great places!!! However, I haven't been to practically any of them.....do you suggest having a meal at a few of them or just booking with the feedback on here?

Re: Bridal Shower locations?
i would prob call a few places and see if you can have them fax you a catering menu/party menu(dont know what they are called!) and then go from there.. maybe test out the places whose menus fit your price range...
