Ok so I'm talking to my MOH about the shower. I would want my fiance to be around, as well as my dad, brother, and some of the other men. I went to a shower about a year ago and some of the men stayed in a different part of the restaurant and they came in towards the end. Or, I've also seen the guys go somewhere to hang out, then come back towards the end.
What are girls' thoughts on this??

my friend had a jack & jill shower when she got engaged ... i couldn't make it though since she's OOT but it seemed very cute from what she had described

there were male and female guests ... my friend and her FH walked in together (though her fiance knew about the shower in advance ... but she had no idea) and everyone stayed in the same room the whole time.
i don't think they played any games or anything though ..but i could be mistaken.

we want a jack and jill shower. I don't know the specifics since my mom and MOH are on it, but both men and women will be invited to attend. I think they're planning some interactive stuff but nothing like bridal shower games.

I have been to a bunch of showers with male and female guests. I think Jack and Jill showers are more fun. I'll try to find out what games were played because I can't remember.

DH brought me to the shower and came in for like 2 minutes. then him and the dads and a few other guys ate in another room of the restaurant and hung out. They came back in at the very end to help pack up gifts and say goodbye to people.

DH and his father were both at my shower... They stayed at the bar part of the restaurant and even ate some of the food we had (it was buffet style)... And then they came in towards the end to see some of the gift opening... No biggie

Fo my cousins, we we did 7-10 just girls-Here we did all the games, then at 10 all the guys came, the DJ got the party started and we had a rocking dance party

I have seen like FOB and FH at showers for a few minutes in the beginning and at the end to help pack gifts to bring home and that is it.. i think that there are not alot of guys who would look fwd to and appreciate a bridal shower.. honestly its not really their thing to pick out dishes and towels. To change it up and make it guys and girls, you would have to take away alot of the feminine 'cutesy' things that make a shower a shower... it might end up more like a second engagement party.

I am all for co-ed things!!! My baby shower was co-ed and I wouldn't have it any other way!!! FH is upset he isn't 'supposed to' be apart of the shower and doesn't understand that we registered just for the shower (we didn't do an e-party) so I say go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that my father, FH, and probably a few other men will be at the bar or someplace nearby, and will help us load up the cars. I'm actually a little excited to have all the attention just on MEE for once, lol.
