bridal shower nightmare!

last night i had to go over the list for my shower to give to my FSIL (she has been asking and ive been procrastinating )....well the list had 79 people on it i was expecting a list of 40 or 50 people but for some reason my mom wanted to invite ALL the women who are invited to the wedding on our family's side - most of which i havent seen since i was 5 and probably will not recognize so i am actually hoping, for my sake, that they dont show up (honestly, i cant imagine these people coming to the wedding let alone my shower - i dont know what my mom is thinking!)

so anyway, last night i dreamt that my little sister and i arrive at my shower - and my mom is giving me this attitude and she sarcastically tells me to look around and try to find my friends - and i look around and i dont recognize anyone, its all old people and not even my best friend is there...it was horrible! so in the dream im yelling that its not my friends fault b/c they probably didnt even get the invitation since i only gave FSIL the list the day before the shower.....ohhhh it was SO WEIRD and horrible.....then i look around the room and the shower was in the basement of an abandoned building - like the floor was cement, there was cement dust everywhere and it smelt like a stable - *** is that about!!!!

lord please let my friends come to my shower and please dont let it be in a stable

anyone else have weird dreams like that?

I haven't had any weird bridal dreams yet.

I can relate on the bridal sower list bein long....I'm at 100 women invited Slot of them are Fh's relative's and my mom's friends that I really don't know....I'm hoping they don't come also!

My MOH actually called me last week to tell me SHE had a bridal shower nightmare

She said that the shower was taking place in a TGI Fridays and it was just horrible! All my guests had RSVP'd no and then showed up anyway! People had dogs inside the restaurant! And then my little cousin fell and broke her leg!! She woke up hysterically laughing and had to call to tell me!

sorry you had a nightmare! i dont have ones about the shower but about the wedding.

the other night i had one about my COUSINS wedding!

You probably had the dream cause you were thinking about it while you were doing your list and everything. Don't worry your shower will be beautiful!!!

thats perfect - id like something with about 40-50 people....

i think doing the list with my mom stressed me out a little - bc my mom and FSIL are planning the shower together and im not sure who is paying for what - because its a surprise and i dont really know anything except im having a shower i just dont want my FSIL spending alot or being stuck with a big bill - because i feel like she is already doing more than she has to....

FH assured me that the shower is going to be nice, wont smell like a stable and that i will love it - but he said he will not give me any hints or clues he just said not to worry!

Kinda the same thing for me minus the dream. I was so embarrassed to give my SIL the shower list that consisted of 75 people. I had to make excuses for giving her so many names but most of the women on the list I actually know.
