Maybe you should just ask people to send you pics since your mom's camera broke. Tell them you do not have any!

I didn't see trhe initial post, but I'm the photographer in the fmaily. My mom brought batteries for her camera, but the card was full. My cousin who often takes pictures had a dead battery. I only have a handful of really crappy pics. meanwhile I give people HUNDREDS of pics from every bridal and baby shower, wedding, etc. I was also furious.

Def ask others for pics, I'm sure they took lots and just think at least its not the wedding!!
