Bridal shower question #2

How about this question: what was your favorite game that was played at your bridal shower????

Re: Bridal shower question #2

I haven't had mine yet but I JUST played the best game at my friend's shower! Basically we grouped into pairs or groups of three and had to write a poem about the bride, groom, upcoming wedding, etc. And then the bride had to read them all out loud and pick the best one. It was SO FUNNY! To be honest I thought it sounded a little lame but it was really, really funny, especially if the bride is shy and has to read a haiku about how her FH is a 'studmuffin' and how they should 'go make lots of babies.'

There were no games at my shower but Ive been to showers where there were and my fav game went like this....
Before the shower you ask the groom questions about him and FW
the day of the shower the guests answer these questions b4 the bride gets there\
when the bride arrives she has to answer the questions. Whichever guest gets the most questions right gets a prize.
Im not sure what its called but I think its cute!

Re: Bridal shower question #2

Ok they had lots of good games. Here are some:

1) Ok so the one where they ask my (then) FH questions prior and then ask me was a big hit. And every time I got one wrong I had to stick gum in my mouth. By the end I couldnt talk, it was hilarious. Simple questions like what his number was when he played college football, what his first car was, his favorite food, his waist size....

2) This poem was really cute. My sister in law read this poem and as she read it they handed me the items she was saying, like 'fantastic' spray, and 'Mr. Clean' and 'Life' cereal. It was really awesome.

It is only fair that we let 'her name' in on a little SECRET. ' (his name)' may be FANTASTIC but wait
until she finds out that he is not MR. CLEAN. He'll expect her to be a DYNAMO in the kitchen
and he thinks all women should MOP & GLOW. At night he'll wake you up at DAWN to SNUGGLE
up close. We all AGREE that 'her name and his name' will have a very happy LIFE together. Our wish for
you is that your home be filled with JOY and you remain as happy as ever in the FUTURE.

3) They gave each guest an index card and had them each write down a piece of advice for me

4) http://www.unique-bridal-shower-ideas.com/candlepoembridalshower.html

Try this one...my sister did it for me and it was really special

5) They also did the game where everyone has a chance to answer questions about me and whoever knows the most wins a prize.

Have lots and lots of prizes, people love it!!
