Bridal Shower Question

So my Sister/MOH has been asking me nonstop about when she should have the Bridal Shower. I dunno!

How many months before does one have a Bridal Shower? And shouldn't we start looking for a place to have it soon? ( for those that don't know, I am helping my sis/moh out with b-shower. She's only going to be 18 and she's trying so hard and I think is cracking under pressure lol MOM-ZILLA is applying the PRESSURE grrrrrr)

I am having a part in planning mine-so there won't be any surprise in it. Mine will be Mid-to the end of October. It will be Halloween themed-my favorite holiday and also when i got engaged. We have started tossing around ideas of places and have a list going of places to call to start pricing out.

Most people have the shower 2-3 months before the wedding, but some people also have it a little earlier because of scheduling issues.

I think the shower should be around 2 months in advance...but some people do it further out...and some closer. My sister's wedding was in Sept and I threw her shower in July. My best friend's wedding is this July and her shower will be in April. It depends on what'smost convenient for everyone.
