The invites went out about a month(-ish) ago.... but now that we are creeping up on the RSVP by date, there are a ton of people who haven't responded yet. It amazes me that a bunch of people who RSVPed to the wedding already haven't been able to contact my MOH or my Mother about the shower in time. A lot of items on our registry have been purchased, so that's a positive sign... but it's so frustrating that people can't call in time to say yes or no....

RSVP date for the wedding is tomorrow - I have less than 1/3 of the RSVP's, and in that - only 1 bridesmaid's and 1 groomsman's reply. Um, wedding party - you know you're coming, just send it!

After tracking people down all weekend.... we are waiting on ONE person (technically 2, but I know the 1 will definitely not come because she is flakey like that), whom we did call, but she hasn't gotten back to us. I feel like if you can't RSVP in time, then you're automatically out haha

Ha ha, I am doing the same thing! Certain ppl I'm going to just throw it out! We did have better luck with the wedding invites and I think the other poster hit the nail on the head, ppl don't like calling anymore!

I must be spiteful too because I'm doing the same And I just got a baby shower invite for one of them HAHA I'm planning to wait to see if shows up for the shower. She's one of two that didn't respond on time for my shower so if my BM can't hunt her down she's getting put down as a no and I'm not stressing about attending her shower. I can see how important it is to her

I'm so glad I'm not the only one going through this... even though I KNEW I wasn't! I'm also glad to see that I'm not the only spiteful one
I totally get that people have lives & other things going on in it... but so do I (and all of you!) and we shouldn't have to hunt people down.
This may not necessarily help, but putting an email address along with a phone number to RSVP may be the best option nowadays. It's amazing how many people have a fear of the phone

People are just rude! My MIL had to call his side of the family cause a lot didn't RSVP! And with my wedding received some 2 wks after the RSVP date, how hard is it to send back a SASE! Lol

My BMs put an email AND phone # on the invites. One person who didn't RSVP is just plain rude and she does that sort of thing all the time. I'm counting her as a no. If she shows up, she can feel weird. The other person... I have no idea why they couldn't RSVP !

Oh man... okay so we will leave it that people are just dumb!
Just remember this when it's their time for whatever party/shower, etc. they have! That's ALL I have to say!
