Re: bridal shower seating ?
most showers ive been to there were placecards, but also have been to some that didnt have any. Depends on how many guests you have and to avoid the awkwardness that somebody might feel that doesnt know anybody and then having to figure out who to sit with and asking ppl if they can sit at a table. If you will have any guests that doesnt really know most of the other guests then placecards area a good idea.

for 65 ppl then maybe you can do place cards but if not should be ok. Have your MOH greet everyone and if theres someone who might not know others then to know to help her get a seat ya know.

Re: bridal shower seating ?
At all of the showers I've been to there was a table set aside for the bride and bridal party, other than that, people basically sat where they wanted, one exception was a shower in which 145 people attended.....not joking...and there was assigned seating there, but all of the other ones just had people sit where they wanted.

Re: bridal shower seating ?
Honestly I have only been to one that was even formal enough to have place-cards, but they had them. I was a bm so I knew where I was sitting but my mom hated it because she felt confined to her one table and never got to meet other people. Most I have been to are usually very casual, and low key, so no place-cards. I think the problem with place-cards is that it encourages people to sit down and stay seated the whole time when normally showers are very casual, people walk around and everyone gets to know one another.

Re: bridal shower seating ?
My shower had place cards because we had a large party-90 people. So I think the larger the party place cards should be done.
