Bridal Shower Silly Story

So I went to my FH's best female friend's bridal shower yesterday which was a lot of fun...and a bit comical to boot. There were about 15 of us and we went around and did introductions. When the bride introduced me as so-n-so's fiancee there was one girl who spit soda through her nose...apparently there were bets among FH's friends if he would ever settle down and this girl lost a ton of cash on that bet!! FH never knew about the bet.

The entire day this girl kept saying 'I can't believe you are marrying X'...Makes me wonder.....

that is really funny!! You should get a share of the winnings this girl lost too

you know what...all the girls probably wanted your FH...and couldn't get him...so they just told themselves that he wasn't the one woman type to make themselves feel better...

That is funny..... that's ok , when FH & I sent out our engagement announcements to some old friends, they called us & were like....'wow you two are still together?'

I used to wonder, but now FH & I just laugh at it.

BTW..... do you know how much she lost??? It might be funny to see how 'sure' she was that she would win!

I used to get that to, 'Wow I can't believe Steve's getting married' I was always like should I be worried?
