I was hoping you could all give me some ideas of a 'signature drink' that I could make for my friend's bridal shower. She wants something in one of those glass jugs with the spout. I'm having trouble coming up with something that isn't too alcoholic (all guests have at least an hour and a half drive home), but that sounds like it would taste good. Something pink would be optimal, but not necessary. If any of you could give me some ideas, I'd appreciate it!

Oh gosh! I WISH I knew the name of them. However, if you go into Hallmark in Roosevelt Field Mall, they sell all these cute glasses with drinks that are called really cute girly names like 'Blondie' & such. The glasses come in black boxes that have decorations on the outside. When you see them, you'll know. I'd say go in, look around at the different recipes, and copy down the one you look! (Or buy the glass phaps for the bride to drink out of!)

I went to this PR bridal show thing in the city, and they served a 'Blushing Bride'--it was champagne and watermelon liqueur. It was DELICIOUS!!

I actually bought the wedding one for my best friend for her shower. It was so cute!
As for drinks...if you want something pink...how about a cosmo and just give it a cute name? For my friend Mari'e shower (groom is Paul) We had Maritos (Mojito) and Paultinis (green apple martini)

3 Tbsp Gin 4 Tbsp Pineapple Juice 3 Tbsp Grapefruit Juice 2 Tsp Grenadine Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a tall glass. Garnish with a piece of grapefruit.
Naughty School Girl 2 1/2 oz. raspberry vodka 1/2 oz. simple syrup splash of sour mix Sugar Club soda A lollipop for garnish
Fill a shaker with ice. Add vodka, simple syrup, and sour mix. Shake. Wet the rim of a martini glass, and dip it in sugar. Pour contents of the shaker into a glass. Top with soda, and add the lollipop.

FH actually 'invented' this drink one night at a friends house(we do that a lot) that ended up being a big hit we ended up serving it at FSILs baby shower. it's easy to make
equal parts of the following: vanilla rum (i like cruzan) pineapple juice cranberry juice
splash of orange juice I throw a splash of malibu in when i make it and the first time he made it he put in a little coconut milk (totally opt)
we call it a $hit finger (after my nephew- who's always scratching his @$$)
for the shower FMIL added orange sherbet which just made it way too sweet...
it comes out pinkish orange

At my friend's show they simply did champagne w/ chambourd. It wasn't in a pitcher or anything though. The bar tender just individually put them in champagne glasses. It was pink and tasted like cherry. They named it after her nickname.
