Re: Bridal Shower Suggestions in NYC?

Oh Mammamia on 2nd Avenue and 77th is so cute. Rustic Winebar type of place. You can rent out the whole restaurant I think. Downstairs there is a private room. If you're willing to go downtown
Village is awesome. Great atmosphere right in Greenwich Village. I Coppi in the East Village has the most amazing enclosed backyard/garden. It's beautiful!!

The bachelorette party I planned for this friday is at essex. The cheeseburger empanadas are AMAZING. I've ordered pick and white cupcakes from Sugar Sweet Sunshine across the street!

yeah its normal to feel like that, i always do the same thing...but you know what it always turns out great and i am sure your guests will have alot of fun. Being a HUGE empanada fan, i cant wait to hear about the cheeseburger empanadas, although i shouldn't since im on a strict diet

I will tell you ALL about it!! PS, they also have short rib empanadas. sigh. I'm on strict diet too and trying not to drink too much. I'll be drinking club soda with lime hoping that it looks like a drink!!!

I live on 75th!

I live on 77th!! Yay for other Manhattan girls - there aren't too many of us on the site...!

Sorry to the OP - didn't mean to threadjack!

I also looked into Uva for my b.shower - their prices are very reasonable for a private party. I had my shower at Mumbles - we didn't have our own room (just our own area), but it was great. The food was fantastic, and sooooo reasonable. There are a bunch of cute places downtown as well - east village area....
