Sorry to the OP - didn't mean to threadjack!

I also looked into Uva for my b.shower - their prices are very reasonable for a private party. I had my shower at Mumbles - we didn't have our own room (just our own area), but it was great. The food was fantastic, and sooooo reasonable. There are a bunch of cute places downtown as well - east village area....




My friend just booked UVA for my bach party!! I'm so psyched!!

Where is Mumbles? I didn't realize they were still around....

I know it's nice to see some other NYC gals on here.

Uva is fabulous- I love their cheese plates and the garden! Was just there on Friday with my friend.

Ugh, I dont miss the 6 train. Although I used to get on a 86th, so it wasnt as bad.

My husband takes the 6 everyday as well! It's funny how the few manhattan girls are all in the same area!

Arno's Ristorante (great italian and they have private rooms!) It is in the garmet district. Let me know if you want details.
