My sister did table assignments for my shower. It was a lot of work. For her shower, I did not do table assignments. I just let people sit where they wanted it. It was so much easier that way.
too much IMHO. just let people sit where they want...table assignments can get a little stressful as is--and i've never been to a shower with a table assignment...people just kind of figure it out

I had a large shower at a restaurant/hall...table arrangements were necessary... i think it depends on your situation
I know it would be more work for me, but easier for the guests. I have been to many showers where when you get there, you get stuck at a table where you know noone.

I would def do them. They had them at mine and it made everything run smoothly. I went to a baby shower recently where they didn't and it was totaly choas. I think if you are having over 40 people you should do it, otherwise people might be standing around unsure of where to sit.

It is at a hall and we are expecting about 70 people.
Thanks ladies, I appreciate your help.
I am a big fan of table assignments. It makes it much easier for your guests. Otherwise, if someone shows up a few mins late, they may end up sitting with people they do not know.
