bridal shower themes

Hey brides!

I am planning my best friend's shower, and want a theme, but am having a little trouble. I thought about just going with a color - she loves pink. I thought about a 'reminiscing' theme - we'd have lots of picutres of the bride and groom, etc. I tired to think of a hobbie or something that the bride and/or bride and groom like, but i couldn't really come up with anything. Please help!

maybe a cooking theme
lingerie theme
sex and the city theme
audrey hepburn theme
tea party theme
moroccan theme

or what you can do is stick with the color scheme, maybe do a pink shower, or add a color to it like pink and brown.

i was just thinking that it would be REALLY fun if my BMs went with a 'New York' theme for mine. Like had cute little 'I love NY' stuff and maybe NY Pizza. lol. Just because i LOVE it here and after the wedding I've gotta move away for a bit. But, of course, the shower's not up to me and it's definitely too late to mention it. It's a surprise but i think they've already planned it and i wouldn't wanna throw out that idea and make 'em feel bad.

But maybe something like that!!! If she's moving away, do NY. Or if there's a place she loves, like Paris or whatever.
