So my moh my sister is younger than me and never has been to a bridal shower. She asked me if I wanted a theme. It's not a surprise my shower. Do you need to have a theme? Or what them are you havig or had or have seen? We are doing a full sit down so tea party doesn't make sense.

Re: Bridal shower themes
My mom told me my bridal shower will be beach themed. Since our honeymoon will be in Hawaii. She even said each centerpiece will be like the story of my life. I'm not sure what exactly that could entail but hopefully nothing embarrassing! I love her enthusiasm though.

Re: Bridal shower themes
I had never heard of themed bridal showers until my friend had a Breakfast at Tiffany's theme with a Tiffany's box cake and everyone wore black dresses and pearls. Let me just tell you, it's one of the most memorable showers I've been to. But for the most part, showers aren't themed. At least the ones I've been to haven't. You might just want to tell your MOH to keep the decorations in accordance with the colors of your wedding. Also she would want to keep in mind the types of food and parties you like. I was in a wedding in which the bride was allergic to fresh fruit and the shower had crepes with berries in it. Her tongue blew up. You want to avoid things like that from happening haha.

I don't think you need a theme, but if you want one that's fine too.

I don't think you necessarily need a theme. I think Bridal Shower is the theme ya know. Just nice flowers and elegance.
Although, I just had my shower on Sunday and my friends chose to do mickey and Minnie since I am a big Disney fan. Pictures will be in my album shortly. But they make beautiful flower centerpieces with rhinestone mickey heads on the ribbon that went around the vase. All the print out games had mickey and Minnie on it. The favors were rice crispy treats shaped like mickey heads. The invitation's I found out had mickey and Minnie kissing and the whole thing was written in Disney hand writing.

I had a wine theme shower. It was awesome. They had a wine bar, centerpieces were corks & flowers, favors were wine glasses, I got wine and there were wine games.
Not necessary to do a theme but it really is great.

I don't know anything about my bridal shower but I'm sure my mom and MOH will have some sort of theme. I've been a few that had themes and a few that didn't - it's definitely not necessary.

I think mine is cooing themed. My friend said my mom got cute stainless steel measuring spoons for favors and my sister is sending recipe cards out with the invites
