So I wanted my shower on a Sat so that I could have it in the day, turns out 1 of my BMs are going on a cruise the weekend of my shower, my MOH has an event that she has to go to on that Sat. and since my FMIL is going to be in NY that same weekend my MOH planned the shower around her NY visit.
So now my shower has to be on a Friday night. Do you think that a Friday night is a bad idea? I don't think it's a big deal but I have a feeling my friends might make a big deal of it.

I think a nighttime shower is kinda cool. I've never been to one at night, but hey, a party is a party!

I have a shower next sat night in the butt end of Staten Island! LOL it is my first 'night' shower so I will let you know how it is!

my shower was a Saturday night & everyone loved the idea of it being at night. it was a great night out for the women. a lot of people liked how it didn't ruin their entire weekend by being in the middle of the day.
no matter what you choose to do someone with always have a complaint. do whats best for you.

We had an evening shower. Guests were told to arrive at 5 and FH and I showed up at 6. It was a lot of fun and just a big party. I guess it depends on what you want. Are you having a coed shower or just a women?

I think it is a good idea to have a evening shower... I hope mine will be on Saturday evening as Sundays are for relaxing

It's just women, I'm just thinking that they might not want to come after work. Plus most of them live in BK and the shower is in LI and they don't drive.

that was actually my request. most of my friends are married and have babies... i thought it would be a nice 'girls night out' kinda thing! i am so excited for it too cause i am not a brunch person!
