BTW: I am going to be calling these places to see if I can get estimated prices. I will let you know what I find out.

Oh... and there is also Caffe on the Green in Bayside. I have never been there and know nothing about it but I accidentally found out the other day that my shower will be there.
My shower was there too! It was nice and they ahve a separate room as well.

Re: Bridal Showers in Queens
My engagement Party was at Durrows of Glendale. Food was excellent. Salad, Appetizer, Dinner & Dessert. Beer, Wine & Soda included.
My bridal shower was at Roma View in Howard Beach - it was a brunch with all sorts of breakfast & lunch items, carvings and an omlet station. They had mimosa's & bloody mary's & punch included too.
My rehersal dinner is at Joe Abbracimento's in rego park. They are serving everything Family Style. Appetizer, Pasta, Dinner, Side Dishes and Dessert. Open Bar.

The food at both Caffe on the Green and Giardino's is EXCELLENT. We go to Giardino's all the time for dinner because we love the food and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Haven't been there for a catered affair.

My bridal shower was at Carosello's. I have been to showers at Roma View and Abbraciamentos.. both were very nice.
I also went to Portofino's on Queens Blvd and Ascan Ave for a bridal shower. It was a brunch and very nice.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Giardinos and it was very good. My bridal shower was at Marbella's in Bayside on Northern Blvd and guests are still raving about the food.

Re: Bridal Showers in Queens
My shower was at Ponticello's in Astoria. Excellent, excellent food (they are rated very highly in Zagat's). Everyone raved about it. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. Service was outstanding too.
My rehearsal dinner was at Portofino's in Forest Hills. The food was average. I was annoyed that I had ONE last minute no-show and they charged me for the meal. They're not a catering hall -- everything we ate was stuff they already had on the menu. Very uncool.
They also said I would have the entire side area to myself. But when we got there, there were other people eating in the area
I only had it there because it was across the street from my church.
