A good friend of mine said that no matter how comfortable your shoes are, you might want to change into bridal slippers or sneakers, I am planning on making my own with hot glue and ribbons to save some $$$, unless it does not come out good then I will buy them, but here is my question.... if you are getting fitted for your dress with the shoes you are going to wear on the day of the wedding, which I am planning to do, will that affect the apperance of the dress the day of the wedding, henceforth making it longer and tripping all over it??? ( I know silly question, but it is a thought that has crossed my mind as well as my sister, and MOH )

Re: Bridal sneakers/slippers
I changed into Bridal slippers at my reception, after the dances & all, and yes my dress was a bit longer but you hold it up a bit while walking around. I had no problem.

Re: Bridal sneakers/slippers
I am also going to have a pair of bridal slippers but my shoes for the day are flats so I should be on but I have seen it suggested to get platform sneakers so you still have the height but I don't know where you could get them sorry.

Re: Bridal sneakers/slippers
I will prob. keep my wedding shoes on, but if not, I will prob. buy a pair of pretty ballet slippers. It will make the dress longer though.

Re: Bridal sneakers/slippers
I wore ballet slippers...and it did make the dress a little longer but I did not notice it too much. I changed way after the dances and stuff.
