bridal stores

Any recommendations on a bridal store for wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses. I'm thinking of checking out Paradise Bridal, Bridal Suite of Centereach and Bridal Reflections. Any comments good or bad about these places would be appreciated. Also any other places you have had a good experience at will be helpful.

Bridal Reflections

For the most part, I had a great experience with Bridal Reflections. My consultant was Marni and she was very patient and easy to work with. My only piece of advise is that when they ask you for a price range, give them a price a little lower then you are willing to pay. I was shown several dresses that were several hundred dollars above my maximum price. Of course I fell in love with one of these dresses:) But to be fair, they did work with me a bit on the price.

Bridal Reflections

I bought my dress at Paradise bridals. The nice thing about the store is they have a room that has dresses below $1000 and a room with dresses over $1000. This way you know what price range you are shopping in. They have beautiful dresses in both price ranges. I worked with Kathy and she was very helpful. I live out of town so I wanted to buy my dress in one weekend. I tried on A LOT of dresses and she didn't get impatient with me once. Hope this helps! Carrie

The Wedding Salon in Manhasset

I bought my dress there and they have been so nice to me eventhough I have been a pain in the ass. Last weekend I showed up, without an appointment, with my parents and a friend just so I could look at my dress again because I forgot what it looked like. They were in the middle of a trunk show yet they still let me try the dress on again even though I had already bought it and try on veils - I ended up spending over an hour there and they were very patient and accommodating. FYI - I love my dress even more after seeing it this time! So far I have had a great experience with the women at The Wedding Salon. Good luck and have FUN!

Bridal Reflections (Caryle Place)

Bought my dress there and had a very good experience thus far. Also got a good price on a couture gown.

Bridal Suite- Centereach is Great!

Debbie is a HUGE help. They were willing to work with me on price. And even ordered me a dress that they do not normally carry. Great shop.

Stay away from Patchogue Bridal Suite!!!!

If you do a search you will find my posts and others regarding the horrific service we received there amongst other things.

Lorib- Do you mean Bridal Suite in patchogue?

They are NOT own by the same people. In fact, Bridal Suite in Centereach posts signs stating that fact! Did you mean Centereach or Patchogue?

Macy's Bridal Salon

Has anyone been to Macy's bridal salon in Lake Grove? If you have, could you tell me the price range of the dresses they carry, and if it was a good or bad experience? Thank you in advance.

Macy`s Bridal Salon

I went to Macy's and tried on some gowns there. I didn't have a pleasant experience. The woman we had was soo impatient with me and it seemed like she couldn't be bothered. She didn't help me at all trying on the dresses. After we were there for about 45 minutes, she told me my appointment was over and that I could only try on two more dresses. Your experience there will probably be dependent on who helps you. Good Luck!

Macy`s Bridal Salon- price range

I found my dream dress there but purchased it through Bridal Suite Centereach (NOT the same as Patchogue). They carry dresses to $2500 (mostly in the 1,000-1500 range). The help is not very helpful. I suggest you try Bridal Suite first. Debbie there is great and knows what she is talking about. Macy's was nice to me but the girl knew very little about bridal gowns. Basically she was there to take dresses to my room and put them back on the hangers.

Macy`s Bridal Salon-

I had a great experience at Macy's , which is where I got my dress. The woman who helped me was GREAT!!!! However,-some minor issues- when I went for my first fitting, I waited about 45 mins. I had a 4:00 appointment, and they were so backed up. Ok, not so bad, but when I picked up my dress, I waited an hour, because they forgot to steam and press my dress. Those are the only two issues I had, other than that, when I went there trying on dresses, the woman was great with me.
