Blanchee Boutique in East Rockaway. They are terrible-rude, won't tell you designer, etc. I loved Priscilla of Boston though!

Congratulations and enjoy your search!
Flowerama in Elmont, Lilletes in Baldwin, Macy's in Lake Grove, Adriannas in Islip, and Rocky Point Bridal are VERY NICE.
Stay away from Bridal Reflections and BridaSuite of Bay Shore.

I also bought my gown from the Bridal Suite in Bayshore. No problems here. But everyone has a different experience.

Re: bridal stores to stay away from?

Just wanted to clear things up and be fair. I tried twice to post my experience at Bridal Suite of Bay Shore on Vendor Ratings, but it did not work. As a bridesmaid I was always happy with BSBS. When I went in looking for my bridal gown it was terrible. I was pressured and felt very uncomfortable. I loved one paticular dress and the woman kept telling me that it was 'the one.' I told her that it was only my second day looking and that I wasn't ready to make a commitment. They KEPT telling us that they could give us an unbelievable deal on the dress. FINALLY they convinced us to leave a $100.00 deposit on the condition that if I change my mind I could transfer the money to either another gown or a bridesmaid dress. I went back to try the dress on again and realized that the gown was not 'the one.' The place told me that my dress was already ordered and that I had no choice. I have been a professional bridesmaid up to this point and knew that you cannot order a dress 100 down. (The dress was 3,000!) Besides the fact that I didn't like it, I couldn't afford it!
After several phone calls they finally admitted that it wasn't ordered and then said it was only transferable for another gown. Then they said it could go towards a bridesmaid dress, but by then I was too fed up to deal with them so i'm out $100.oo

I would like to say that I got my dress, bridesmaid dresses and my moms dress at Bridal Suite in Centereach. They are not affiliated to the other Bridal Suites. I had no problems there at all. I felt it to be wonderful dealing with that shop. If you do go, ask for Debbie, she was so so helpful. I felt lucky to run into her! Also, I went to 12 other places before I found that place.

My experiences with Patchogue Bridal Suite were terrible. I have posted them here and if you do a search you will find them. I would not recommend them to anyone.
