I got my BM dresses there. So far they're great. We've got the dresses in and they're gorgeous. Nobody has gotten alterations done yet bc it's still too early. The staff there has been nothing but nice. I highly recommend them.

Thanks for responding. I have a great experience there also. Mary Ellen helped me, she was a doll. Im really considering ordering my dress from them.

I had a pretty lousy experience there. They did not disclose additional charges until they had ripped open my dress and made it impossible for me to take it elsewhere for alterations, they never called re: fittings (claim they left three messages at correct phone number - none of which I got) and they did not alter my dress to fit closely enough.

This was a bridesmaid dress.

I was not happy with them at all.

i got my dress and BM dresses there. i never had any problems with them. they were pretty accomodating with everything and i thought their alterations were good. my sister had to go back more than once for hers, but other than that we had no problems.

My mom and I both got our dresses there. I had a great experience, but hers was kinda crappy. At her first alteration, we saw that the seamstress had damaged the fabric on her skirt and they told us that it was nothing and that no one would notice. Uhhhh WE noticed!! The skirt had a sheer overlay and it had several pulls in it and one was right on her butt and soooo noticable. They had to order her a new skirt and weren't very nice about it.

I bought my Maggie there 2 weeks ago at the sample sale. Everyone was really nice. The veil I picked out had a small tear in it so I wasn't going to buy it but they fixed it as I waited. PS The veil was originally $275.00 and I paid $50.00. So I saved over a thousand on dress and veil.

eww I hate that! Dont throw the customer service out the window now that you have the sale.

My family and friends and I have all had terrible experiences there... for me as a bridesmaid, MOH and my cousin and bf as brides

dress alteration issues primarily, but also rudeness and lack of responsibility and accountability

Re: Bridal Suite of Bay Shore

I ordered my gown there, my 11 bm gowns, 2 jbms gowns, 3 fg dresses, and my moms mob gown. They were fantastic!! Mary Ellen was so helpful! She picked out my gown for me and my moms for her! Their alts were great too. I went back several times to try the sample of my gown on, probably between 7-10 times and they were fine with it. Make sure you deal with Mary Ellen at all times and have it written on your contract that you can try on the gown once before your fittings. From what i hear, they do not want anyone trying on their gowns when they come in

I bought my dress from there and I had a great experience. I have not gotten called for my first fitting yet so I'm sorry that I have no feedback on alterations.

thanks, I had a really great experience there but I found the REAL dress designer (they did give me a fake name) so Im a little unsure of them now.
