I was planning on stopping by the Bridal Suite of Bayshore tomorrow evening. (Do you think I need an appointment?) This will be my first stop in my brief (hopefully) search for a gown. Our wedding date is 8/31/03 and I know it's considered 'cutting it close.' I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with ordering their dress so close to their wedding date. Any feedback/suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You probably don't need an appointment, but try calling first thing in the morning just to make sure and let them know you're coming in. As long as you find something you like within the next week or so, i don't think it should be to much of a problem, but I 'm not sure. Ask the lady when you go. She would be able to give you the best answer.

You should probably order it soon. They can always rush order it but you want to leave time for fittings and they will charge you for rush shipping (not necessarily Bay Shore, put some places). I would probably make an appointment, but if you can't get one it doesn't hurt to look what they have.

I would definitely make an appointment so you have the attention you need, just in case they are busy. I made an appointment for my dress during the weekdays and they were fantastic....and it wasnt too busy, but then again it was in October. Good Luck!

I got my dress there. Maryellen helped me. She is great. She actually picked the dress that I bought. She told me that she wanted me to try a dress on, but I was a little hesitant at first, but I love it. I'm going there tomorrow for my fitting, I can't wait. Good Luck they are all very good.

My girlfriend got her gown from there before the fire. Her Wedding was Jan. 4th 2003 and her gown was burnt. They ordered her a gown faster than she could say 'I BETTER HAVE MY GOWN BEFORE MY WEDDING!' It was stressful but they got it done and it was GORGEOUS! I would definately make an appointment so that they give you their full attention. And you want that!
