OH MY GOD! I got my dress there. I just got married in May. Oh no................ I hope the whole store didn't burn! It sounds like it was in the apartments above, maybe the dresses were saved??

I wouldn't worry if you got your dress there, I'm sure another store in the area can call the designer and have it shipped to them rather than to Bridal Suite.

OH MY GOD!!! My friend is going to flip!!! She ordered her gown there... it was the only place on long island she was able to get her gown from!!! That is terrible news

Yeah and what if your wedding was next weekend, and you already went for you final fitting and you are picking the dress up this weekend (the week before).! Oh my God, what would someone do?

MISTYEYED

Mistyeyed, you are right. With all this 'wedding' thinking, I didn't even think about the owner's livelihood. I love the owner and all the girls there, Mary Ellen, etc. They are all out of jobs now. Oh my God. You know here I am thinking about wedding dresses, not even thinking of more serious implications. Please forgive me. I guess instead of freaking out over wedding dressses, we should also be thankful no one lost their life. Now that the inital shock is over, 'OH MY GOD, ALL THE BRIDES', I am starting to think beyond that.

I cant believe it I just drove by there last Sat. My Mom bought her gown there for my wedding. They were so nice in that store. I hope no one was hurt.

Of My Goodness, that is Horrible.

This is where I found my Dress, and I went back several times, but in the end it was way too far for me so I decided to go somewhere more locally.

I guess that was a good sign, cause if the dress came in already, I may have been in trouble. I hope nobody here had there dress there. Oh this is Stinky news.

i think Erica (yabbobay) got her dress there, thank goodness her wedding is long gone.

they were really nice there too.
