Bridal Suite of Centereach- RAVE *Updated w/ pic*

What an amazing experience I had there today! From the minute that I walked in, the staff truly treated my like a bride. I worked with Cindy (Sydney? I think Cindy) and she was great. She was pulling dresses from everywhere for me, and she let me, my mother, and the FG's mom (and the FG!) go through as many dresses as we wanted.

I hope this can help someone else: They had that so many people have been asking, that they are going to order a size 22 Maggie Sottero Sabelle sample!!! It will be in in April...I'll probably order before then, but this is truly wonderful news that Bridal Suite of Centereach is being proactive for us plus sized ladies. It made me feel proud that something is being accomplished and something is being done about the lack of certain plus sized samples.

They had a lottt of dresses that I could try on..not all were my style, but those that weren't helped to give me a very good idea of what Sabelle would look like on me. And the ruching was not flattering for me personally. Gorgeous dress that I will always love, but it wouldn't work on me.

HOWEVER, I am in love w/ the Victoriana + the rosettes on the Sabelle, so what the store can do is order a Victoriana + roses/rosettes directly from Maggie and can put them in the pickups, which is basically my dream dress. We didn't order today..and they weren't pushy AT ALL..even though Maggie was having a trunk show. I don't know what flowers or color dress I want yet + I love trying on dresses and want to keep my appts.

I tried on a size 20 Victoriana and at first it wasn't corsetted...but then another woman came and did it...and ohmygosh! I actually have a waist! It looked AMAZING. They even let me attempt to try on a size 12 sample size! It almost fit...if I had a 14, I would've gotten into it (which annoys me that other stores didn't let me try on 14s even more.)

I had my FG with me and they let her try on dresses too! What a wonderful shop & experience (especially after that awful shop I went to last Thursday!)
