Bride groom height issue

Hello ladies! My fiance is 6'5' and I am 5'9'. My fiance wants me to wear heels b/c he said our heights will look awkward otherwise... What do you think?

My FSIL is 5'3' and her husband is 6'11'. She wore average heels that she was comfortable in and was in flip flops most of the night. I would go for comfort. You are going to be standing side by side with your fiance forever. So what if there's a height difference.

I think you can go either way. I'm only 5'0 though so I'm use to having a huge height difference between us lol. Maybe go with a small heel, if you do 2 inches I feel like a 4 inch difference is nothing.

I'm 5'1' and FH is 5'10'. I'm wearing 4 inch heels, but it's only so I'll look longer and thinner. I don't think there's anything wrong with being a lot shorter than your significant other. If you aren't comfortable in high heels don't wear them!

I'm about 4'10'... my FH is 6'6'. I'll wear heels for the ceremony and photos. But other than that... I'll be in flats for dancing.

Our height difference is honestly one of my favorite things about us. I can't wear heels ALL my life!

I'm an inch taller than FH, it's flats for me! Which is fine because I'm not much of a heel wearer walking in the city all the time. Although I do think they look great!

FH is about 5'10.5' and I'm 5'4', I'm wearing 3.5' heels because that's what I'm comfortable in.

My fiance is also 6'5' and I'm 5'2'. I plan on wearing nothing less than 5 inch heels, and up because I don't want us looking ridiculous in our pictures.

I'm 5'6' and FH is 5'10'. I am wearing flats not because of height but because its more comfortable and safer for me, I'm a walking disaster! I dont want to trip and hit my face on the most important day of my life! Flats or 6' stilletos, It should be about what makes you comfortable! Your photographer should make the pictures beautiful, height difference or not.

You should wear what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful! I have the opposite problem FH is 5'5 and Im 5'3 lol I dont mind wearing 2 inch heels if only I could find heels that are that low lol Im a clutz so the lower I am to the floor the better. The last thing I need is to be on stilts lol

I'm 5'3' and he's 6'3' Not much you can do about it! I think wearing heels may make it easier for dancing. I bought 4.5 inch heels though because I know I will be a disaster in 6 inch heels. Any height I can add helps! I don't think it will look weird, but I am always awkward dancing with him when I'm in flats.

Im all but 5 foot nothing and Fh is 5ft 7. We are both shorties but he still has 7 inches on me. Ill prob wear a few inch heels for pictures then take them off for dinner and dancing so I could be my short self again. Do what youre comfortable with !

I'm 5'7 and FH is 5'9 so I dont have much room. But I love heels so I have a 3.5 inch platform shoe. His dress shoes have an inch on them and he offered to where lifts. lol.

I wish I had your problem. FH is about an inch taller than me at most! I don't want to be in heals all night but it would have been nice to get a nice pair for pix and ceremony (especially since every nice heal nowadays is 4'+) but the most I'll be able to get is 2', if that.

I would not worry about the height difference btwn you and your FH. If you want to be in flats go right ahead. It will not look funny.

I'm 4'10', FH is 6'2'. I'm wearing 5 inch heels only because thats what I like. Our height difference is obvious regardless of how high my shoes are...it's us, and it's perfect!!!

I definitely have the opposite problem - I am 5'2' and fiancé is 5'6'. I found shoes that I love at 4', but I'm not looking forward to being the same height!

Crashing - FH is a whole foot taller than me, so I'll definitely be wearing some 5'-6' heels. But I'm actually comfortable doing this since I wear heels around him all the time.
