Let me start by saying congratulations to all the '09 brides, I like many of you have recently gotten engaged and am soooo excited to be planning my big day. Our reception is being held at the woodbury country club and I am trying to get my fiance to agree to having the ceremony there also. So Im looking foward to chatting with you guys!
Hi I'm a WCC bride also. DO NOT get married at the RH this is a big mistake. (I love the WCC and it is perfect for a ceremony) Unless u and FH agree to take pics before the ceremony. If u get married you & the families will miss your wedding, all because of pictures. If you get married somewhere you can have a 3-4 hour gap just 4 pics. Think about it.

Re: Bride To Be - New To The '09 Chat!
Hey everyone!
So tomorrow me and my FH are going to have the set the date talk. I am so clueless as to what is the best time to get married as far as cost (day/month etc) We agreed on 09 because that would give us enough time to save money. My mom and his parents want us to get married in 08. But I want to know that we have saved a nice chunck and we can have all the things that we want... I have only been engaged for five days and I already feel that the planning will be real stressful. Also to have an enagements party/not have one. WHo throws that? Do we? Does it have to be at our place? Help!!!

Hi! Don't stress! Usually, from what i heard, October-May is the cheapest. I didnt think May was cheap, but aparently it is. The first month or 2 was stressful but now that we have the RH booked, the Church and the photographer, I'm not stressed at all! Also, DH is totally against an engagement party. I want to have one, but totally casual. In my backyard, catered, and kaeroke (spelling?). We'll see what happens. Good Luck--everything will fall into place soon!
