I hope something works out for her. Ive heard things like this and its one of the reasons I would consider wedding insurance. I hope she gets her money back but in the end nothing can make up for the damage he has caused

My heart goes out to your cousin. I pray that they find the guy snad make him pay.
Something like this happened to my sister...just not as close to the wedding. Back in the day Suffolk Manor (now Galaxy Caterers in Lindenhurst on 109) closed and my sister was supposed to have her wedding there. She was on channel 12 news and everything. They never got any of their deposit back. Luckily she was able to book Manor East and they loved it there.

wow, just...wow.
If I ever came across him in the future I'd punch him dead in his face. instead of building a business on good reputation that could bring in money for a lifetime you'd rather take the easy / grimey route and steal the money and run...and not even care about ruining the best day of several peoples lives. I should pray not only for the bride but for the slimeball whoo took her money because karma is gonna come back to bite him on the arse so baddddd.
