Bridemaid's Dress Shopping

Bridemaid's Dress Shopping

Yay! We are finally doing this on Sunday! I want to keep the dress cost at around $150. However, I don't want David's as my only choice. Can anyone suggest any shops that offer dresses in this range? Thanks girls!

I know that you can search for dresses you like on Dessy.com by price range (though the actual prices aren't listed) and then the site will tell you where you can find those dresses. I saw some pretty dresses on there that ended up being below $150. HTH! Good luck!

I recently called the Bridal Suite of Bayshore where I ordered my wedding dress and I was told that the Alfred Angelo dresses that I want for my bridesmaids are $149.

I totally agree RK bridal had really great prices on dresses I didn't even think would be an option for my BM's. I'd suggest finding the dress you want at any salon and calling them for a price quote.

Where is RK Bridal located? Aren't they all in the city? And do they offer alterations? Or do you have to go elsewhere?

I think they're closed on Sundays for the summer but it doesn't hurt to call. Here's their address...

318 West 39th St. (Between 8th & 9th Ave.)
212-947-1155

Also, they don't do alterations if you go through their 'no-frills' program. If you purchase the dress at their regular price, then you can have the alterations done there. Hope that helps!

You can always go somewhere and try on dresses. Then after you figure out what you want call around to other stores and see who has the cheapest dress.

That is what all of my friends did and that is what i am doing.
Generally though David's has the cheapest.
