did you let your BP choose their BM dresses or you chose?

My sister and I picked the dress. I invited other girls to come but they backed out so we made the decision.

it was mainly mutual, but since no one would just pick...i ultimately picked from the 3 we had it narrowed down to!

Same here...I picked out of the final 2 candidates...I tried really hard however to get them to pick or at least voice opinion about a clear front-runner since I'm not very good at the decision making either but it came down to me but because the BM votes were a split decision...

we went shopping together and i let them try on some to see what they would all look good in, i had the final say.

I picked the color and the manufacturer. From there I had in mind exactly what I wanted, but they tried on several pieces...THANKFULLY they chose the one I really wanted.

i picked the color...and when we went shopping, we all picked up dresses that we liked....the one that ultimately was the one, was one that I had picked out, and it was in the right color, so it made it easy for them to visualize. But they all liked it, so that was it!

We all went to the store together and they actually found the one they wore. We all loved it.

both kinda. I chose the color and they all chose different styles. I liked the idea since i had so many body types. i had one say i love halter, another anything but halter tops...another, i need some kind of sleeve or strap...it would have been a nightmare to try and pick one style.

I tried to give them the opportunity to choose but they weren't cooperating. I sent them ideas for styles, I tried to arrange time in their schedules to go shopping together, but no one wanted to help! So I said, forget it! I picked out a dress and told them I didn't want to hear a word of complaint. LOL - My MOH still whined that she didn't like the dress because it was strapless. I gave everyone the option of adding spaghetti straps if they wanted them.

I picked the color, fabric and designer, they all picked their gowns. Pics in my album, it came out really nice that all had different dresses. Some people didn't even notice that they weren't in the same dress.

We did same fabric/designer/color they picked the style... the halters look similar but each is a little different.

I am not married yet but have already finished this part.

It was kind of funny how this happend. My girls picked the dress out themselves. When I was trying on my wedding gown, one of my bridesmaids was trying on all different bridesmaid dresses that her and my MOH liked. The three of us decided which dress we liked the best and which color we liked best. I guess you can say it was a partnership and we decided together for everything. I also have 3 more bridesmaids that weren't there but everyone seems to like the dress. I think b/c it is a simple dress it fits everyones taste. The cost was reasonable too which made me happy b/c i don't want them spending a lot.

I narrowed them down-we went to try them all on-I narrowed them down at the bridal shop to the ones I liked on them and then 'they' chose-however they knew which one I was leaning towards and picked that one knowing its what I really wanted. I chose the color too

I choose the color, and the designer - they had separates - and they chose their own tops and bottoms - worked out really well becasue I had many in the BP with different types of bodies. They looked awesome - and they may even be able to use them again!

We used Impressions Bridal.

I picked out about 20 styles that I liked, told them all their dresses had to be in a shade of red (they chose the red) and they tried on about 5 dresses when they came to their decision.
