Not my mom, but I am dancing with my sister (also MOH). We're very close, and we wanted to dance to the song 'Miss Celie's Blues' from the movie The Color Purple. I'm looking forward to it! I've been to weddings where the bride danced with her mom and it was really beautiful!

I'm dancing with my mom on my wedding day. I was raised by my mom (dad is not in the picture) and we didn't have it easy. I've chosen I Hope You Dance by LeeAnn Womack. It's perfect for us and the words are so BEAUTIFUL.

OMG that song ('I hope you dance') always makes me cry... id be bawling if i danced that with my mom.. I've been thinking about doing it, since i lived with my mom for the majority of my life (dad lived in MA for awhile and only saw him once a month if i was lucky). So i think it would be nice to do.

I probably will be bawling...but I'm trying to listen to it a lot and get a lot of the crying out of the way NOW before December...but I can't imagine that I won't be crying dancing with my Mom on my wedding day.

I danced w/ mom> dad is a total loser. We danced to landslide by fleetwood mac it just seemed to fit the words are beautiful but you have to listen carefully
