and having a rehearsal the day or a few days before. Are you inviting your reverend/minister/rabbi to the rehearsal dinner? What about your DOC? Just wondering what is protocol

Re: Brides - Getting married at hall...
No - my officiant already told us he doesn't attend the RD.
Sorry, I don't have a DOC, but I wouldn't think to invite them either.

I'm going to be inviting our officiant to the RD, but I don't know if he'll come.
I don't have a DOC, but I would invite them if I did.

My officiant is only coming to the actual rehearsal, not the dinner after

Re: Brides - Getting married at hall...
rehearsal is the night before, but my banquet manager will have the directions from our officiant for the rehearsal---i don't think our officiant is doing the rehearsal (but we do run through the whole ceremony a month before at his house-just me and fi). so no, the officiant won't be invited to the RD and i don't have a DOC to invite, but if i did i don't think i would. ~lacey

Re: Brides - Getting married at hall...
As part of DOC mine comes to the rehearsal itself. She is on the list for dinner.
I will be sending the judge an official invite for the dinner.

Re: Brides - Getting married at hall...
We did a mini rehersal at our RD...the officiant didn't come, but the DOC did as a part of our contract. She ran the rehersal.
