Brides getting married in colder months

Anyone wearing a coat or a wrap? If so where did you get it?

My dress comes with a wrap. It's a Maggie Sottero, I think alot of her dresses come with matching wraps.

I'm buying my BM's Pashmina's to use from the Cashmere Company

Well...I saw a full length one at David's for $75 and my FMIL is making matching capelets (elbow length probably) for my flower girl and I.....simple white satin on the outside and nice cozy white fleece lining!

I see that you are the week after me....I am willing to part with mine after my wedding if you'd be interested. Im undecided as to whether I'm doing a full length or an elbow length....shouldn't be too cold, just chilly by then! (I HOPE)

I bought a rabbit hair cape on e-bay brand new for $30. I have an off the shoulder dress and I was afraid that even though we are getting married early November it still might be very cold. I also did not want to spend a fortune just in case it was warm out.

Btrflygrl thanks for the offer. I was just wondering if anyone was doing anything..I hadn't thought about it until my Mom mentioned it. Thanks for the info.

I'm thinking that I just want to wear a shawl.. Possibly faux fur. I figure when I have my first fitting this week that they can give me a few suggestions...

I bought my dress at David's and I actually just found a wrap the other day on teir website that matches my dress. I am a little pissed that they didn't tell me about the wrap when I bought the dress. But oh well. I am going to go in their next week to order it. Shoot, I better go in their tomoorow, I only have a couple months to go. If they have to order it, I may get screwed!!

My aunt is making me an opera coat to match my dress, but I saw a bunch of fur wraps in white & ivory at David's last week. They had muffs too! We went there for shoes (horror story & a half) and they were on display right inside the front door.
