When I went to the florist for a price and we talked about my bo-k I said roses and she said about 18 and showed me a pic and I thought it was nice..but then I thought..18 is a whole lot a roses and prob will be pretty heavy. So my question (finally) is..how many roses will yours have?

I'm having 2-1/2 dozen Black Beauty Roses. I never even though to ask that. She had a sample from a show she had just done while we were there. It didn't seem heavy.

It was a nice size, if you did. The boK she had was made up of white roses with stefanotis. She had the pearls in the stefanotis. It was a beautiful boK.

Mine wasnt heavy at all, but then again..I didnt have to hold it for long..we had a quick ceremony, about 25 minutes at the most! It wasnt bad at all!

I had 36 roses and it wasn't really heavy at all. You get use to it after a few minutes : ).

the jack and rose one that jennbaby had,and other girls have had with roses all together with some stephenophis(sp?) between them has 36 roses....
i think bridesmaids bok's are like 12-18roses...

I am carring three dozen red roses. I am getting 1 1/2 dozen roses for my maid of honor and 1 dozen roses each for the bridesmaids.
My florist said three dozen roses is really not that heavy...

Mine is going to be 3 dozen white roses w/ stephanotis -- I probably won't mind the weight.
My BM's will carry 1 dozen 2-3shades of pink roses in theirs.

If your flowers are heavy that day...you won't even notice it. I didn't, I could not even tell you how heavy or light they were.

I posted a similar question to this topic, and someone (I think Sonicstef) said to remember its not how many roses are in your Bo-K - its the size of the roses, because roses/flowers come in all sizes.

that makes sense. I remember the florist saying something about that..all open less roses..closed, more. But now I don't remember if she said they would make sure that they would be closed or open. I think I would like a little open.
