Brides Having their ceremony at the reception hall

Hello ladies,

If you are having your ceremony at the reception hall and you are getting ready at the RH are you having your hair and makeup person come the RH to do your hair and makeup? I am getting married at Vineyard Caterers and I am getting ready out in Riverhead. Should I have my hair and makeup people come to the hotel or to the RH? I am the only wedding that day so I can get there as early as 11 (I think) and my photographer is going there at 2. Should I do everything there or have my hair and makeup done at the hotel and then just get dressed at the RH? Not sure what is customary and what would be better.

I am getting married at my RH and getting ready at my parent's house. I don't know what time your ceremony is but mine is in the morning so my hair/makeup lady is coming at 5am! I think it would be easier to get ready at your house/hotel just in case you forget anything.

FH and i are getting a room the night before, and all the girls and I will be having hair and makeup done at RH

since u say you're getting dressed in riverhead, i would suggest that you just do everything else there as well. Once you have your dress on, you're going to want to have the full look to complete it! Just make sure that since your photographer won't be there, that u have a close friend or family member to take pictures of u getting all beauty-fied!

I had a noon ceremony at the RH. I had hair and makeup come to the hotel, then I went to the RH to get dressed and take pictures. It just worked out better that way...the hair and makeup girls were doing multiple people who were already at the hotel, so it wouldnt have made sense for them to all go tothe RH to get done.

I'm also getting married at VC and I think I will be getting ready there (in the bridal suite). The bridal suite is huge and has a great vanity mirror for doing hair and makeup so I think it will be easiest for me to get ready there. I'm staying at the Best Western in Riverhead the night before.

my wedding is at 1130 in the morning at the rh my hair and makeup are coming to fsil house about 6am then were are all going in a limo to the hall arount 930- we are getting our photos done before the service so we can enjoy more time with our guest,
