Help! My future wifey is stressing about photographers. So far we have seen Verdi, Patken and Duet. My favorite is Verdi. I am not sure because of the photos or their studio(house). Seemed very focused on details. Duet seemed like the best overall value, and they seemed to throw in everything we wanted. Any others you can recommend in the Long Island area would be appreciated.

I highly recommend Bill Minnick in St. James. His work is great and his prices are excellent. He will really work with you to create a package you like.

Dan Wagner!! He is AWESOME! He even does ads for Absolute, photo shoots for Teen Vogue and has photographed celebrities like Joe Torre, Bustah Ryhmes and Kelly Ripa.
He's a vendor on here.

Re: Brides helping Groom
I'm going with Duet but it all comes down to how comfortable you feel they will be during all phases of the planning and execution of your wedding. Including any forseen problems after your special day. The photographer my sister choose did a fine job but when I met with him I wasn't comfortable. My fiancee loved him. See if you can look at all photographers works and the videographers too if you are using them for both.
Best Wishes,
Thomas ( Another Groom who's on here more that his other half. )

That is a very good point! It is very important that you have a good rapport with the photographer.
