Good friend of mine is looking for a 'place' to get married that is 'like' a church but not a church. They are both Atheists, but would still like the feel of an aisle and love the architecture of a church. Are there any places like that that you are familiar with? Thanks so much for your help!

Re: Brides Need Special Hall Help...
There's a church in Syosset thats called The Chapel and I believe it used for any type of religious ceremony. It is on Jericho Turnpike past the Fox Hollow.

The Historical Chapel is a vendor on here, and super-nice!
Anyone know of any place like that in Suffolk (perhaps in/near the Stonybrook area)?
For what it's worth, a friend of mine was just telling me about the non-denominational church in Williston Park - her cousin got married there and she said it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! (The service was not religious in nature at all)

The Swan Club has their own chapel, which I thought was really pretty. It was by far, the nicest I had seen. My hall doesn't have one, they just set it up in an area, so I'm praying for good weather!

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on Nicolls Road in Stonybrook will do a non-denomination wedding. You can provide your own officiant or they can do it for you. Give them a call. Nice people.
