I'm doing a tropical/beach themed bridal shower for my sister since she's getting married in the carribean. I'm having a really hard time finding a bridal shower invites that depicts both a bride and a tropical theme. Now I have to just pick one - Do you think it's better to send an invite that is more bridal showerish (like a bride on it) or do the tropical theme invite?

Hmmm, probably the beach theme - everyone already knows it's a bridal shower. It'll be nice to allude to what it's going to be like if they come...

I go for a beach theme, my sisters best friend is having her weeding with a beach theme so they did the same for the bridal shower, so she picked out beach theme invites and they were really nice!!

Why not make them yourself. You could get nice beachy themed paper and either print right on them or use a cut out. If you are creative, they could be a lot of fun!

How about something like this from express-invitations.com - it's beachy, but still has the 'wedding feel'
This web site has pretty island themed invitations, and most are wedding invites, but you can order just the invite and not the response and all, so you could make them into shower invites!!
ETA- Here are a few samples from the site. I am sure you could just order the invite and put shower info on it!!
