Brides on a Serious Budget

Who did you use for your flowers? I still havent booked a florist because Im afraid of how much its going to be

However I dont need CP's so thats probably going to drop the price dramatically (at least Im hoping so)

I haven't looked for flowers yet but I've heard from several people that if you go to the flower district downtown you can get some great deals

It definitly will help to lower your price. We went with With All My Heart. She is very reasonable with her prices and they do beautiful work. Good Luck!

I have been quoted about $150 bride; $50-75 each BM; $20 mom's corsage/bo-k; $5-$9 boots.

Not having them do CPs will drastically drop the price. I was quoted between $50-75 for low and $100 - 175 for high.

I heard that larger cos can actually get you a better deal than smaller shops b/c they buy more volume.

I definitely have to meet with Flower Michele for the sweepstakes anyway so I better get over there. My parents scared me cause they said they were SO expensive when they went to see them but that was back when I thought I was using flower CP's.

i have heard both good and bad things about the florist at wedding world in commack.
I know they have great prices though.

non floral centerpieces save a TON of money.

also, if you're on a really tight budget, Stop and Shop usually has an amazing florist. I know that long island brides don't usually think to go there, but all my out of state friends have used their local grocer and gotten great prices and gorgeous flowers.
it's worth looking into.

I think this is where florists buy there flowers. I bought flowers here for my mom's party a couple of months ago. It was definetly cheap and I just had someone arrange them for me in a vase.

I actually went to Flower Michele on Friday, met with John and i was blown away. The price was not as high as i thought AT ALL! For my budget i was very happy with the price. It was my first florist so i didnt know what to expect and it was great!!!!!

def. try l a blossom she is great she did my sisters wedding for $500. that inculded the groommen, bridesmaids, flower girl, ring bearer, the parents , it was agreat deal and she was great.

I used flowers by Liz - she is an independent florist - does everything from home. I was recommended to her and she is wonderful. Just went to a wedding where the bride used her, the flowers were gorgeous!!!! She's right in Sayville

Hi I'm using flower michelle and they will work with your budget, you give them a limit and they'll do it. I found other florists didn't do that

Try Ken and Eva's Flower Cottage in Brentwood. There Prices are amazing and they do a beautiful Job. I've seen their work in a previous wedding. There prices are unbelievable.
