if you paid for most of your wedding, including the photographer, did you buy albums for your parents?

Well we are paying for 75% of our wedding including the photographer and we are giving my mom and FILs their own albums

We decided to not get albums until we receive the proofs. Once we get the proofs, we'll take it from there.

we didnt get albums....we have 4 set of parents. WE get our negatives and proofs we decided to get a book made by shutterfly or other websites for them...We told them they can buy on their own but they are like 600-700
Needless to say I am sure they will be happy with the album we get made or them for much much less

We paid for a majority of our wedding but both parents contributed to it so we bought them albums and even upgraded them.

We paid for about 75% of our wedding and got them albums. I had it included in our price when we negotiated with the photographer.

This is what we did too...the more you added to the package the more the could negociate the price

Two parent albums are included in our package, we would have liked 3 since my parents are divorced but it was like 300.00 for the extra one. My parents will have to share

We are paying for about 50% of the wedding, originally we were including 2 parent albums in our photo package... BUT it was sooooooo expensive! Both of our mothers said that they didn't mind if they do not get the parent albums. Since I love making scrap books I am going to use some of the proofs and create my very own parent album for my parents and FH mother. Hope it works out!!

We're getting the parent albums and we're paying for our entire wedding. We just got an album for each of them with 18 pictures and being that we'll have all our proofs too, I think that's enough.

We're paying for our wedding, we have 4 sets of parents. I told them all they're getting the tri-fold portfolios (they're really nice, not just the plain white cardboard) and they can pay to upgrade them if they want.

Yes, we are paying for 85% of the wedding ourselves and it comes with our photographer package to have 2 parents albums. I want them to have pictures too.

FH & I are paying for about 80% of the wedding, and we are getting both of our parents that albums.

I have help from them paying, but I am still not going to pay $700 for a parent album, I plan on using snapfish or ofoto or something to make one. I have seen them on here from other girls and they are just as nice!

yes. I already made them photobooks on Kodak. and as nice as they came out, there is no comparison whatsoever to the album I got yesterday. apples and oranges!!
I'm not sure how much more it would cost to get them clones of our digital album... but we're saving for a house and really don't have the extra $$! But after seeing the result, our parents are going to FLIP out and want one
