brides side, grooms side

i usually like doing stuff traditionally but i was thinking have the gms tell our guests to sit on either side regardless odf whos 'side' they were on so just in case it was really uneven, it wouldnt look funny and it was just be more even in general

you think this makes sense? is not something i should even worry about?? who cares?

I think you're way overthinking it...I don't think people actually do this anymore.

People will end up sitting wherever.

Are you getting married at a RH or a Church? At a RH people definitely don't abide by that rule, but at a Church they generally still do - so if that's the case you can have the ushers tell your guests to sit on either side.
